Jason M. Brown
About
Jason is an Idaho native. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Idaho State University. He is a fluent Spanish speaker, reader, and writer. While attending Idaho State, Jason translated for courts in Bannock, Bingham and Power Counties. Jason chose the University of Idaho College of Law as his law school and graduated in 2011 with an emphasis in Native American law. Since that time, he has gained legal experience in state, federal, and Native American tribal courts.
Jason is licensed in every court in the State of Idaho, the U.S. District Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the United States Appellate Court for the Federal District and the Shoshone-Bannock and Shoshone-Arapaho tribal courts. He has worked in private firms, including one of his own, and for Idaho Legal Aid. He was a public defender for two years during law school and now is very happy to be an associate with May, Rammell & Wells. Jason has experience in criminal defense, family, landlord/tenant, and Native American law.
